Do you have an Unwanted Roomate?

Our mind wants to keep us safe. Anytime you shift to what is unfamiliar, your mind wants to pull you back. It requires work and tenacity to overcome, and it will come up with years of objections. Some can be valid; some keep us stuck, some we decide to keep.

You might say that I have tried this or that. The great philosopher Yoda stated: “Not try, do it or do not.”

It is almost as though we have two operating systems in our mind:

  1. The system where our imaginations, memories and emotions are in control.

  2. The self-regulating system that allows control, predictability, and progress.

What I do is to defrag your mind so that you can choose to make better, faster, and calmer decisions and gain control. Life is not meant to be challenge and stress free, but it can be about enacting our freedom to deal with the challenges and stresses in the moment.
We all say we want:

  • More out of life – what does that look like and are we willing to take on the risk?

  • Less stress – do we know the stress management techniques that work?

  • More energy – do we know how to be strategic in avoiding burnout/fatigue?

  • Greater focus – do we know the five steps to greater focus?

  • To quite our mind – do we know the easiest, most practical ways?

  • To shift our mindset – do we know the limiting beliefs producing our mindset?

  • To change our thoughts and patterns – do we know how to create new ones?

If you’re able to invest some time in your headspace, I would like to talk with you.
